EDUKASI KESEHATAN LANSIA TERHADAP PENCEGAHAN HIPERTENSI DAN KOLESTEROL SEBAGAI FAKTOR RISIKO STROKE PADA LANSIA DI DESA NAMBO KABUPATEN BOGOR TAHUN 2025
Abstract
Background: Elderly people are a population that is vulnerable to hypertension and hypercholesterolemia which greatly contributes to the risk of stroke. Objective: To assess the effectiveness of a health education and anti-stroke exercise program on changes in blood pressure and cholesterol levels among elderly individuals in Nambo Village, Bogor Regency. Research Method: This study employed a quantitative approach with a pre-experimental design using a pre-post test involving 30 respondents. Results: The findings showed a decrease in cholesterol levels and diastolic blood pressure after the intervention. Conclusion: This intervention proved to be effective as a community-based promotive and preventive strategy.
