PENGARUH INTERVENSI BAD RAGAZ RING METHOD TERHADAP FUNGSI KOGNITIF LANSIA DI RUKUN SENIOR LIVING SENTUL
Abstract
Latar belakang: Penuaan adalah tahap akhir dalam proses kehidupan yang membawa berbagai perubahan, termasuk fungsi kognitif pada manusia. Salah satu intervensi fisioterapi yang efektif digunakan pada lansia dengan gangguan kognitif adalah Bad Ragaz Ring Method (BRRM). Metode penelitian: Penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain pra experimen menggunakan pendekatan one group pre-test dan post-test. Sampel yang telibat dalam penelitian ini adalah lansia yang tinggal di Rukun Senior Living Sentul yang berjumlah 13 orang dan telah dipilah sesuai dengan kriteria inklusi dan ekslusi. Hasil: Hasil uji Wilcoxon Sign Rank Test terkait pemberian intervensi Bad Ragaz Ring Method terhadap fungsi kognitif memiliki nilai p = 0,046 yang mana lebih kecil dari 0,05 (p < 0,05) dan memiliki arti terdapat perbedaan hasil yang signifikan dari pemberian intervensi Bad Ragaz Ring Method terhadap peningkatan fungsi kognitif lansia. Kesimpulan: Bahwa pemberian intervensi Bad Ragaz Ring Method terhadap pasien lansia dengan tingkat kategori fungsi kognitif ringan dan normal dapat memberikan perbedaan yang signifikan terhadap fungsi kognitif lansia.
